| I currently have five healthy dogs. Three Akita's a Great Pyr and a Samoyed/mix. The picture I just submitted is of Lyle Lovett. Lyle passed away May 2nd of complications due to cancer/bloat. She was the love of my life. Her death devastated me so much. She was a beauty. She was sweet and always so well behaved around everyone who met her. She did modeling for Macy's (formally Marshall Field's) as did her father Griz who passed away from cancer on January 8th. Yes we had seven dogs until May. She was afraid of thunder when it rains so now when it rains I just hold her urn in my arms to protect her. I know this sounds so corny. Her mother Godiva and sister Princess Leia miss her and her father and if you knew her you would know what I mean. My husband and I going to have a memorial party in Lyle and Griz's honor and implement a fund raiser for a local shelter to help other dogs suffering from cancer and for research. |
